.Twin Towers Café Renovations Begin!
Long awaited renovations to the Twin Towers Caf é will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 8. During the construction, which is expected to last three months, a modified menu will be available, including breakfast at Chick-fil-A and Caribou Coffee. A temporary hot food bar will open for both breakfast and lunch on the west side of the cafeteria. Lunch offerings include salad bar and hot entrees on the temporary hot food bar, along with Chick-fil-A and Caribou Coffee, which will offer expanded lunch selections. Patrons will enjoy additional seating on the Balcony level of the Twin Towers for both breakfast and lunch during construction.
Cafe hours will remain 6:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Caribou Coffee is open until 2:30 p.m. Diners should make note that the cafe is busiest between noon and 12:45 and adjusting lunch schedules may help reduce any wait time and provide for more seating options. Remember, too, that the cafe at #2 Peachtree remains open and serving a full menu.
The renovation is the third phase of the project, which started with Caribou Coffee and was followed by the opening of Chick-fil-A. This phase will focus on new serving lines, beverage bars and a fast food option. The main dining area and existing serving lines will be closed for several weeks.
The project includes easier entry and exit by customers; new carpet, tile paint and lighting; new food service, beverage and condiment stations; and additional seating.
